FLASH SALE INSTRUCTIONS:
Hello, friends! For myriad reasons, this year has been intense for all of us. I’ve found solace in a tiny toy film camera. Even through its parameters and wonky, unpredictable function, it has helped me seek light when the world feels grim. I am launching this flash sale to alleviate financial burden in my most difficult freelance season to date. Part of the proceeds of this sale will also be donated to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
Photos are printed at Yours, Durham (a local photography shop!). The 35mm film has been processed and scanned at Bellows Film Lab Miami. Each photo comes matted in white.

Keep track of your total. When submitted, pay via Venmo @victoriabou to confirm purchase. This is the only way to buy! (I’ll send an email within 24 hrs to confirm.) Shipping or free local pickup available. All of these options are presented on the Google form. Prints will be ready within the second week of August 2024.

It had been 6 years since I set foot in Greece, where my family is from. I spent a windy week on the island of Andros (my maternal family roots begin here). The sea danced in tumultuous waves under cloudy skies and threats of rain— a first for me, always more of a summer tourist; this time, a witness to autumnal climate change. This photo is what we call a “happy accident,” taken with a half-frame camera and blessed by a light leak.
